     Cars are important to me. For me, being a car enthusiast is a big part of me.

 If I wasn't a car enthusiast if I wasn't a car enthusiast I would probably be a different person.  I've been into cars since I was small. My dad is the one who got me into the scene. Being a car enthusiast is pretty cool because you can share that same passion with a lot of people. There's different type of car enthusiast so the car scene is really big. My friend bought his first car and he's starting to become an enthusiast and he also wants to learn off his car how everything works. Him and I are going to get more knowledge by working on his car. Our next step would be street racing. My dad and I also have a project car that we're trying to get done. Hopefully the car will be done by next month or so that way I can start driving it to school. Once the car is done I'll probably keep it for a while and sell it to start another project.

   Emerson's title was On Self-Reliance  and the thesis was frowning on imitation. The title and thesis are very similar. On Self-Reliance means to rely on yourself to seek for knowledge within you. "We lie in the lap of immense intelligence." This quote would agree with his title because you're surrounded by knowledge that you yourself can seek for and not seek anyone else for that knowledge. Fahrenheit 451 Essay

     In my eyes, Fahrenheit 451  has a lot to offer to readers in 2018. At first, I didn't think to much of the book. It would be a book where the title Fahrenheit 451  wouldn't grab my attetion, but then again don't judge a book by its cover. It's pretty crazy that this book was written in the 50's because it has situations that are now an every day life in 2018.      The role of technology in society now is huge just as it is in the book. Everywhere you go you see it. People basically carry all the information in the world in their pocket. For example, in the book people are addicted to their t.v. shows such as Mildred. It became a part of Mildred to be attached to the parlor walls. Technology nowadays is basically a part of one's daily routine. Schools are transforming from using textbooks to using tablets that carry all the information you need.
